Besides the insipiration he gets from his personal life Michael also has a strong artist reationship with the likes of William Blake, Van Gogh and Albrecht Durer. Being multi-talented, Greeley has thought about imitating Blake's combination of art and literature in his Songs of Innocence and Experience, by working on a project similar to the slabs, but unique in it's own way. Not wanting to give too much information up on this subject he decided to focus on the relationship he held with the notorious Van Gogh.

What began as normal appreication for his art and fondness of Van Gogh as a character quickly became an obesession similar to that of Pepe le Pew for pussy (cats). It began after Michael had a DWI and was involved in a bout with poverty, in which he was losing and becoming more and more broke.

All this lead to a temporary case of insanity, which came too late for him to use as a plea in court. With the free time he had Greeley began watching every documenatry about Van Gogh he could get his hands on. When he found films that focused on, or involved, the relationship the artist had with Paul Guaguin it was a sensation similar to a junkie getting his fix after fishing for a vein that hasn't become like a burnt pice of pasta stuck to the bottom of the pot.
