They haven't been active on social media since August 19th and don't seem to be
a band anymore, but we can't ignore the fact that Measure Up was an awesome
edge band. Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, the hardcore quartet have two
demos out (one from 2013 and one from 2014) that are spectacular. However,
this issue is going to focus on 2014's demo.
The demo came out in January and it offers up a rough and tough quality that
keeps listeners wanting more. Songs like "Sooner Or Later" and "What's Done Is
Done" will bring you back to the old school, youth crew days and make you
wonder why this band decided to stop making music.
Whatever the reason for their absence, Measure Up deserves to be known and
