ANNUAL DINNER
Once a year, Shanghai Tang holds the Annual Dinner. This year’s Annual Din-
ner was held on March 24th 2017 at the grand ballroom of the Marco Polo
Hotel Hong Kong, where all Hong Kong and Macau employees at the Head
Office were invited to join the happy moment – to engage, enjoy and indulge!
This year’s theme for the Annual Dinner was “Musical”. Employees were invit-
e d to dress up for the occasion and compete for the 3 prizes – “Best Female
Costume Award”, “Best Male Costume Award” and “Best Group Costume
Award”. All employees enjoyed the competition and dressed up with creative
costumes inspired from well-known musicals such as “Grease”, “Lala Land”,
“Phantom of the Opera”, traditional Cantonese Opera and many more. The
competition was strong and the winners were as follow: Best Female Costume
Award -- Penny Chan”, “Best Male Costume Award – Jonathan Liu” and “Best
Group Costume Award - Central Retail Team”.
Another highlight of the evening was the “Talent Show”, where two teams
participated and gave great performances. While the Central Retail Team was
giving a show on traditional Cantonese opera; the HR & CRM Team was giv-
ing a performance resembling the “Hong Kong’s Got Talent Show”. At the
end, the HR & CRM Department was awarded as the winner.

The Annual Dinner also offers a great opportunity to recognize and reward
the long-service employees. Christy Tam, Eric Kan, Angel Lo, and Sylvain
Rocher were awarded the “10-year Award”; while Eva Ho and Tailor Chu were
awarded the “20-year Award”.
Apart from the delicious meal, the evening was full of happy moments with
interactive games. Employees were lucky enough to win gifts through the
lucky draw. The night was ended with lots of joy and laughter!
