Marketing/Promotion: Reach out to bookstores, libraries and book clubs to promote the film
in conjunction with the 1943 novel of the same name by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Advertising can spotlight positive reviews and critical buzz the movie generates. Target families and
seek to maximize exposure of the excellent trailer. Decorate your theatre’s lobby with balloons,
airplanes and stars. Host a paper airplane contest at the theatre using promotional items as
incentives. Set up an arts-and-crafts table with watercolors and clay for the kids. Encourage
them to design their own planets and constellations.
