Synopsis: 70 years before Harry Potter’s birth, Newton Artemis Fido Scamander is commissioned to write a reference guide to magical beasts, which would become a Hogwart’s
textbook.
Marketing/Promotion: The film is a spin-off and prequel to the incredibly popular Harry
Potter series of books and films. There will be a plethora of marketing and promotional opportunities that can target the millions of Harry Potter fans worldwide. Host a “World of Wizarding” Family Day at the theatre opening weekend. Ask trivia questions and play games. Team
up with book stores, libraries, after school programs, and book clubs to promote the movie in
conjunction with the Harry Potter book series.
