Synopsis: Bleed for This is the incredible true story of one of the most inspiring and unlikely
comebacks in sports history. Miles Teller (Whiplash, Divergent) stars as Vinny ‘The Pazmanian
Devil’ Pazienza, a local Providence boxer who shot to stardom after winning 2 world title fights.
After a near-fatal car accident leaves Vinny with a severed spine, doctors tell him he may never
walk again. With the help of renowned trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart), Vinny becomes a
legend when he not only walks again, but miraculously returns to the ring to reclaim his title belt
only a year after the accident.
Marketing/Promotion: Reach out to boxing gyms, amateur boxing clubs, and mixed martial
arts organizations for bounce-backs. Run a contest and work with a local gym to award free
month-long gym membership. If you have local fights, sponsor an evening and hand out mini
one-sheets and promotional swag for the film, in addition to screening the trailer on big screens
between matches. Advertising should highlight positive reviews and possible awards season
buzz the movie generates.

Marketing/Promotion: Throw a Bridget Jones Girls’ Night Out party. Set up a photo booth that patrons
can use as they enter the theatre. Partner with restaurants, wine bars, night clubs, and limo companies to
organize special discounts for groups attending the film that night. Roll out a red carpet for attendees to use.
Capitalize on the social media campaign around the movie by utilizing the hashtag ‘BridgetJonesMoment’ in
posts promoting the movie. The very appealing trailer will have big appeal to women (and men).
