Synopsis: A new comedy from writer/director David E. Talbert (Baggage Claim) and producer Will
Packer (Ride Along, Think Like a Man series, This Christmas), Almost Christmas tells the festive story of a
beloved patriarch who asks his family for one gift this holiday season: to get along. If they can honor that
wish and spend five days under the same roof without killing one another, it will be a Christmas miracle.
The all-star cast of Almost Christmas is led by Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, Danny Glover, Romany Malco,
Mo’Nique, Nicole Ari Parker, J.B. Smoove, Gabrielle Union, Jessie Usher and DC Young Fly.
Marketing/Promotion: Advertise the movie at events ramping up for the Christmas season, including
concerts, craft shows, parades, etc. Throw an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party for the movie’s opening
night. Run special discounts and promotions for large family groups that attend the film together. Create
a flyer for the film that can be given out with gift card sales. Promote the movie at comedy clubs and open
mic comedy nights.

Synopsis: Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Phillip Roth, American Pastoral follows a
family whose seemingly idyllic existence is shattered by the social and political turmoil of the 1960s.
Ewan McGregor makes his directorial debut and stars as Seymour ‘Swede’ Levov, a once legendary
high school athlete who is now a successful businessman married to Dawn (Jennifer Connelly),
a former beauty queen. But turmoil brews beneath the polished veneer of Swede’s life. When his
beloved teenage daughter, Merry (Dakota Fanning), disappears after being accused of committing
a savage act of political terrorism, Swede dedicates himself to finding her and reuniting his family.
What he discovers shakes him to the core, forcing him to look beneath the surface and confront the
chaos that is shaping the world around him.

in conjunction with the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Phillip Roth. Showcase
