PXL offers professional bachelor programmes in Business, Education, Healthcare, IT, Media & Tourism, Music, Social Work and Technology, and bachelor and master programmes in Arts. The university currently has over 8,000 students across 22 different degree programmes. STAFF MEMBERS Wouter-Hustinx Wouter Hustinx is Head of Research at the Expertise Centre on Educational Innovation at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hasselt, Belgium. His main research interest is the advised usage of technology at all educational levels: pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher education. As a staff member Wouter is also responsible for the policy on educational technology at PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis University Cote d'Azur (UCA), located on the French Riviera, was founded in 2015 and groups together the major institutions of higher education and research of the Nice area (France), including the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS). STAFF MEMBERS Natalia Timus Dr Natalia Timuș is Senior Educational Adviser and researcher, Head of academic development scheme TRANSFORM at the Centre for Active Pedagogy of Université Côte d’Azur. Natalia is also Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK. She has extensive experience with innovative teaching and learning through teaching, training, research and project management. Shona Whyte Shona Whyte is active in computer-assisted language learning research, and in teacher education in this area and in English for specific purposes (ESP). She has participated in two previous projects on technology integration in the language classroom (ITILT 2011-13 and ITILT 2 2014-17); her book Implementing and researching technological innovation in language teaching (Palgrave 2015) reports on community of practice initiatives to support continuing professional development in technology-mediated language education. She has experience in teacher education at all educational levels, running workshops throughout Europe, and co- directing a special interest group in ESP didactics within the French higher education association for ESP research (GERAS).
