"There were no set plans for this shoot at the estates. It was all about taking the environment and muses to see what we could come up with. Everyone was cold and exhausted but we still tried for greatness.

The estates had a lot to offer in way of clean but creepy backgrounds. There was an area that kept calling me back in particular. I hung a flash from the ceiling and Alex helped me swoosh the fabric dress we had created on Emilie. After many frames we moved on to the next notion. The red dress was still in my mind during most of the work I did that day. I got busy editing mere minutes after my long trip away. The red dress called to me. I spent many hours combining images to get the final product. It took a lot of work, dedication and my amazing team to come up with such a powerful result. The image screams my aesthetic. It was a turning point for me and the direction I will continue to take my work.

One of my favorite things is when people gasp at something I've poured my heart into. There is nothing better than making people's eye grow just a bit wider. I hope you enjoyed it!"
