Lastly, I had a chance to speak with the creator of the show. We have spoke over the phone and online, but I was very excited to meet the man behind all of it. Kevin is such a driven and creative individual. It is refreshing to me to find other creatives that put the time, work and energy to make their dreams come true. It was a real treat to be a part of their casting call and we are looking forward to collaborating on many more projects in the future. Here is what Kevin shared with me..
What inspired you to create Local Ambition?
It actually sort of fell into my lap. I was a part of a pod cast in 2012 and a friend of mine wanted to do a modeling contest to gain publicity. We collaborated and decided to create the show. Our biggest goal was to steer away from the raunchy and too sexy, and create a more respectful outlook for the models involved.
Who is your all-time favorite character?
I loved Mackenzie from Season 6. It was fun watching her character throughout the season. In the beginning, she partnered up with Chelsi, but after their falling out, she continued to portray the one who needed to be a side kick to whoever she could.
Any hints about what's coming up next season?
We find out what happened to Nikki after she was stabbed by Jessica in the season finale. We also discover what Chelsi's intentions are for this next season.

When did you get into modeling?
I started at age 15, after entering a preteen modeling contest, where I made it into the top six contestants. From then on, I realized that I absolutely loved being in front of the camera. It totally boosts my self-esteem and the image I see of myself. I discovered that I'm naturally good at modeling and love being in the spotlight.
Are there any celebrity models that you look up to or are inspired by?
I would have to say Tyra Banks was a huge inspiration to me when I started out. I've also always loved Marilyn Monroe.
