DAY 1 Travel by air or sea to the Isles of Scilly On arrival make your way to your hotel. DAYS 2-3 St Mary’ s At leisure to explore as you wish. Take a stroll around the island’ s hub, Hugh Town, or spend time at one of the lovely beaches, be it Porthcressa, Town Beach or Porthmellon. Wander around Old Town, or head up country away from the relative hustle and bustle and you will find that St Mary’ s is a haven of hidden treasures, with dramatic rocky coves, stunning seascapes, amazing archaeological sites, beautiful walks and nature trails.

DAY 4 St Mary’ s / St Martin’ s Head to the quay for the 30 minute boat ride to St Martin’ s( ferry payable locally). On arrival, make your own way to your hotel.

DAY 5 St Martin’ s A full day to explore and as this delightful island is just two miles long, that should be easy! As well as breathtakingly beautiful beaches the island showcases spectacular plant life, rare birds and sensational sea views from atop the heathery cliff path walks. You’ ll also find great local food, a winery, a flower farm and the opportunity to go snorkelling amongst the playful Atlantic grey seals.

DAY 6 St Martin’ s / Tresco Return to the quay for the ferry back to St Mary’ s and then take a 20 minute ferry ride to Tresco( ferry payable locally). DAY 7 Tresco A day to explore this subtropical gem. The rugged north is a walker’ s paradise, with no finer spot to chill than the sugar-white sands of Pentle and Appletree Bays. Let’ s not forget also the world-famous Tresco Abbey Garden which hosts a spectacular collection of more than 20,000 exotic plants from around the world.

DAY 8 Tresco / St Mary’ s / Mainland UK Return by boat to St Mary’ s( ferry payable locally) and then onward by air or sea to mainland UK.

Direct flights only operate from Lands End, Newquay and Exeter Airport with Skybus to the Isles of Scilly. Flights are available to Newquay from Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted; and Exeter from Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester and Newcastle.

However, to allay fears of missed connections caused by either weather or travel, we strongly recommend an overnight stay and can arrange this for you at a choice of hotels.
