SOMERS POINT RESIDENT AND COMMUNITY LEADER DAVID HUGHES ESTABLISHES VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION “SOMERS POINT- COMMUNITY FIRST”
“We formed Somers Point – Community First with one thing in mind, and that is to actively participate in making the Somers Point community prosper. All members of the organization are volunteering their time with the same goal in mind. We are here to work, to help, and to make a difference,” said David Hughes. “As someone who lives and works in Somers Point, with family roots here for nearly half a century, the success of the town is very personal for my family.”
Somers Point – Community First will serve as a voice of the Somers Point community as well as assist in various projects that will promote the betterment of the city. Somers Point – Community First assists in offering organizations and businesses advice, expertise, community project partnerships, and more, but does not provide financial support.
