Myth 1: Implement only the latest
The digital revolution often conjures up images of futuristic cities, talking refrigerators, robots, and autonomous vehicles. The reality is much less sci-fi. Many of the greatest environmental benefits can be gained from upgrading and digitizing existing infrastructure. Instead of placing high demands on new infrastructure, we must squeeze more out of what we already have. If you have a software product installed, try improving it. We don't have to start from scratch. Also, there is no need to urgently conclude contracts with a supplier who have joined the "eco" prefix to their name. For sustainable development, it is important to value the contribution already to prepare for the updates.
Today, there is not a single company that has not thought about using green technologies in their business. Even if you are used to working with traditional methods, you are likely to hear about new initiatives. We asked François Agache, Managing Director of Apsys, a company that implements eco-technologies at its facilities, to talk about the myths faced by those who are just thinking about implementation.
