STEP 1

Empty out your selection of purple chip beads and take an eyepin. Thread on some chip beads until you have filled all but 1cm of the pin. Bend the top of the pin to a 90 degree angle, above the last bead. Turn a loop using your round nose pliers. Grip the end of the pin and turn to start forming a loop. Bring the end all the way around to close the loop.

To make your necklace, you will need...

Round nose and flat nose jewellery pliers

STEP 2

Decide how many of the chip bead pins you want on your necklace, and use your pliers to open links along your chain, where you want to place them. You can split down your chain to make more than one necklace, or you could make a full necklace out of chip bead pins linked together.

STEP 3

Attach the loops on your pins to your chain using jumprings. Grip the jumpring on either side of

the opening and turn the pliers away from each other in opposite directions to open it without misshaping the ring.

STEP 4

Open a jumpring and link it through the loop on your tassel. Link this jumpring through the central link on your necklace and close it securely. Your finished necklace may be long enough to put over your head. If you have chosen to make it shorter and use the chain to make more than one design, you can attach either side of your two part toggle clasp, to each end of the necklace using jumprings.
