3-Tips to Build Positive Relationships with Food

s I began to
prepare for this article,
I recalled my “why” in
wanting to work in the
culinary arts industry.
My response, I want to
use my food as a
platform to build
relationships in a
positive atmosphere.
In today's, society the
dinner table is almost
passé.

It creates the opportunity to build families, friendships
and bonds to last a lifetime. Food can create the
opportunity to impact the lives of others’ in ways we
may have never expected.
I learned this lesson with my daughter, Jasmine. As a
parent, I believe we all have hit a rough patch with our
children at some point and time.
My time came during an extended custody battle. At
times, talking with my daughter was frustrating. When
we did speak, the word sassy is one that comes
immediately to mind.
