WHAT’S ON EDUCATOR’S PAGE NATIONAL EXAMINATION RESULT : BREAK THE LIMIT S elasa, 2 Mei 2017, menjadi hari yang paling ditunggu-tunggu oleh siswa kelas 12 di seluruh penjuru negeri, karena hari itu merupakan pengumuman hasil Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK) 2017. Begitu pula dengan anak-anak kelas 12 SMAN Sumatera Selatan yang menunggu hari tersebut. Pengumuman hasil UNBK itu bertepatan dengan agenda tahunan sekolah yakni Senior Trip. Saat-saat bahagia mereka bercampur dengan rasa penasaran dengan hasil UN tersebut. Tetapi seolah terbayarkan, SMAN Sumatera Selatan mendapatkan posisi ke-2 untuk nilai rata-rata ter nggi jurusan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA), serta posisi pertama untuk nilai rata-rata ter nggi jurusan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) se-Sumatera Selatan Sumsel. Tentunya, di balik kesuksesan yang telah diraih, pas banyak usaha yang dilakukan baik dari siswa maupun guru. Mendapatkan nilai rata-rata ter nggi se-Sumsel bukanlah hal yang mudah. Seper yang telah dilakukan oleh siswa-siswi SMAN Sumatera Selatan, ga diantaranya adalah M. Andeyanto, Renaldi Se awan, serta Melly Suci Hartari. M. Andreyanto merupakan siswa peraih nilai ter nggi pertama jurusan IPS se-Sumsel. Lelaki yang selalu membawa earphone sebagai teman se a belajarnya ini terlihat sangat senang ke ka mengetahui atas apa yang telah ia raih. “Saat melihat pengumuman hasil UN kemarin, saya sangat bersyukur bisa mencapai dan memberikan yang terbaik untuk sekolah,” ucapnya saat ditemui sepulang senior trip. “In nya, pintar-pintar bagi waktu aja, apalagi kalau mau dekat-dekat UN,” kata lelaki yang gemar bermain basket ini. Selain Andre, ada dua orang siswa lain sebagai peraih nilai ter nggi ke-3 jurusan IPA dan jurusan IPS se-Sumsel. Untuk peraih nilai ter nggi ke-3 jurusan IPA se- Sumsel diraih oleh Melly Suci Hartari. “Perasaan saya waktu mengetahui hasil pengumuman tersebut sangat terkejut dan sangat bahagia. Sempat juga dak percaya kalau saya berada di posisi tersebut,” kata perempuan yang sering dipanggil Melly ini saat ditemui di sekolah. “Kuncinya cuma satu, banyak-banyak la han apalagi kalau sudah dekat UN. Dan juga jangan pernah takut untuk mempunyai mimpi besar, asalkan usaha yang kita berikan juga sama besarnya dengan mimpi kita,” sambung perempuan yang mempunyai mo o 'I can cause I believe I can'. Siswa lain dari jurusan IPS, Renaldi Se awan pun menjadi salah seorang peraih nilai UN ter nggi Ke-3 jurusan IPS se-Sumsel. “Sebelum UN saya sudah mengintensi an cara belajar saya, lebih banyak la han soal serta serius saat jam pelajaran di kelas,” tukas lelaki yang memiliki mata sipit ini. Selain itu ia juga mengatakan bahwa sempat ada rasa dak percaya kalau ia menjadi peraih nilai ter nggi ke-3 untuk jurusan IPS se-Sumsel, karena ia pikir di luar sana pas banyak yang lebih baik darinya. “Jangan bergadang saat malam dimana besoknya akan mengahadapi UN, selain itu coba untuk mengurangi penggunaan gadget, jangan putus asa dan yang terpen ng jaga kesehatan,” sambung lelaki keturunan cina ini. “Pesan untuk adek kelas yang akan menghadapi UN 2018 nan , rajin- rajin belajar, jangan main-main lagi dan fokuslah dengan apa yang ada di depan mata,” tutupnya saat ditemui di lobi sekolah. Ge ng the highest average scorer in South Sumatra is not easy of which such eﬀorts came from the three students of SMAN Sumatera Selatan; M. Andeyanto, Renaldi Se awan, and Melly Suci Hartari. M. Andreyanto got the highest score of Social major in South Sumatera. The man who always carries earphones when he studies, seemed very happy for knowing what he has achieved. "When I saw the announcement of the Na onal Exam results yesterday, I was very grateful to achieve and give the best contribu on to school," he said when being interviewed a er Senior Trip. "The point is to be smart in managing the me, especially when the na onal exam comes closer" said the boy who likes to play basketball. In addi on to Andre, there are also two students who become the 3 rd highest scorer of Social and Science Major in South Sumatra. The 3 rd highest scorer of Science major in South Sumatra is Melly Suci Hartari. “My feeling when I knew the results was i was very surprised and happy. I also did not believe that I was in that posi on” said the girl who is o en called Melly when being interviewed. “The key is only one, prac ce a lot especially when it is close to the na onal exam. Another thing is that we should not be afraid to have big dream, as long as the eﬀort we give is as big as our dream”added the girl whose mo o is 'I can because I believe I can'. Another student who became the 3rd highest scorer of Social major in South Sumatera is Renaldi Se awan. “Before the na onal exam I had intensiﬁed my learning strategies, got more prac ce and serious during class hours” said this narrow-eyed boy. Besides he also said that he could not believe that he got such achievem ent, because there must be many students out there who are a lot be er than him. “Do not stay up late the night before the na onal exam takes place. Then, try to reduce the use of gadgets, keep high spirited and the most important one is to stay healthy,” con nued this boy of Chinese descent. “For our juniors that will face 2018 Na onal Examina on, be diligent in studying, do not mess around and stay focused!,” he closed when being interviewed in the school lobby. 6 12 Learn today, Lead tomorrow NENENG KHAIRANI : THE MAIN POINT IS THE PROCESS “Matema ka adalah pelajaran yang mudah. Jangan ditaku karena semua aspek dalam kehidupan kita secara langsung maupun dak langsung memerlukan matema ka. Nikma saja prosesnya.” Itulah mo vasi yang selalu dituturkan oleh salah satu guru matema ka SMAN Sumatera Selatan, Bu Neneng Khairani, S.Pd., kepada anak didiknya. Guru muda ini berhasil mengantarkan siswa-siswi kelas 12 jurusan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) mendapatkan nilai dengan rata-rata kelas diatas 90 dan berhasil menjadi sekolah peraih nilai Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK) ter nggi untuk pelajaran Matema ka jurusan IPS se-Sumatera Selatan. Tahun ini ga siswa berhasil memperoleh nilai yang sempurna, mereka adalah M. Andreyanto, Yeni A karia, dan Zona Anggraini. Mereka membuk kan bahwa Matema ka merupakan mata pelajaran yang mudah dengan nilai 100 pada ijazah mereka. Untuk meraih nilai itu mereka hanya membutuhkan waktu untuk berla h soal dan memahami soal-soal Ujian Nasional dengan pendampingan dari Bu Neneng. "Mathema cs is an easy lesson. Never fear math since all aspects of our lives directly or indirectly require math. Just enjoy the process.” That is the mo va on always spoken by one of the Mathema cs teachers of SMAN South Sumatra, Bu Neneng Khairani, S. Pd., to the students. This young teacher succeeded in delivering grade 12 students of Social Science Department (IPS) to get class average score above 90 and become the highest Computer-Based Na onal Examina on (UNBK) score for Mathema cs lesson majoring IPS in South Sumatera. This year three students get the perfect score. They are M. Andreyanto, Yeni A karia, and Zona Anggraini. They prove that Mathema cs is an easy subject with the score 100 wri en on their diploma. To achieve that score they only need me to prac ce and understand how to solve the math problems of Na onal Examina on with Bu Neneng's assistance.
