CHEVELLE was the feature band for the first Shiley Acres Summer Jam of the 2013 season, and they helped the crowd burn off the winter blues with the perfect start to what would be a hell of a kick ass summer for rock at Shiley Acres. Chevelle is an American rock trio that formed in 1995 in Grayslake, Illinois. The band originally comprised three brothers: Pete (lead vocals/guitar), Sam (drums/percussion), and Joe Loeffler (bass/backing vocals). Playing songs from their numerous albums, their playlist included music from their new release "Stray Arrows" which is a collection of the band's favorite songs to date. Some fan favorites included "Another Know it All", "Sleep Apnea", "Still Running", and "The Red" to name just a few. The crowd got just what they expected from this nationally recognized band, a string of rock and roll hits that have made it big not only nationwide but across the globe.
