Mr . Dodson is a Managing Director in Stifel ’ s Religion Finance Practice with 22 years of church and non-profit financing experience . In that time , he has directly managed the origination , distribution , or funding of more than $ 1 billion in church financing instruments for ministries nationwide , including taxable church bonds , direct loans , and loan participations . He serves as lead banker for most of Stifel ’ s religion finance practice transactions in the western United States , underwriting and structuring taxable bonds and providing loan advisory services for churches , schools , and non-profit organizations .
Prior to joining Stifel , Mr . Dodson served as director on B . C . Ziegler & Company ’ s Religion & Education finance team for four years . He has also served as president and chief executive officer of a California-based credit union service organization providing financing to churches and ministries nationwide , and previously led the retail brokerage team for a California investment bank . He has also previously served in pastoral roles at churches in Fort Worth , Texas , and Portland , Oregon .
Mr . Dodson earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth . Additionally , he earned certifications from the SIFMA Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School ( University of Pennsylvania ) and the Wharton / SIA Branch Management Leadership Institute . Mr . Dodson holds Series 7 , 24 , 52 , 53 , 62 , 63 , 65 , and 79 securities licenses .

Dave Schlosser has been involved in religion and education banking since 1986 . He is a managing director in the Waukesha , Wisconsin Public Finance Office . He has served as underwriter and lead banker on bond financings for churches , private schools and other not-for-profit organizations .
Dave is primarily responsible for the origination , underwriting and structuring of many of the firm ’ s taxable bond issues for religious institutions . Prior to joining Stifel , Dave served as managing director in the Ziegler Religion and Education finance team , where he originated loans for churches of all denominations nationwide . Since 1986 , he has underwritten more than 200 issues for churches and schools , totaling in excess of $ 1 billion .
Dave holds a B . A . in Economics from the University of Wisconsin . He is a registered representative of Stifel and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and holds Series 7 , 52 , 63 and 79 securities licenses . Dave has spoken at various national conventions on the merits of bond financing for churches , schools and other not-for profit organizations .
