Welcome to
the first issue of Falk Woods!
Our first issue is all about gaining a sense of the places that comprise Falk’s School-ground Habitat Enhancement and Restoration Project. You’ll learn about our woodland habitat & trail system, native meadow project, composting program, bird feeding & viewing station, critter cottages, and landscaped spaces. At www.artofgeography.com, Sense of Place is defined as:
A combination of characteristics that makes a place special and unique. Sense of place involves the human experience in a landscape, the local knowledge and folklore.
Jack in the Pulpit is a woodland wildflower that is slowly beginning to spread and establish as a patch along main trail.
