Plant Nursery
The Falk School plant nursery is located along the outside, south facing walls of the school’s gymnasium. The nursery is an open-air nursery designed to help students understand seasons, native plant life cycles, propagation methods, and related sustainability practices.
Each year, during the fall, winter, and spring seasons, SHERP classes and interested after school students get involved with native seed collecting, seed sowing, seedling care, and final planting in the appropriate SHERP habitat. Students learn to match the right plant with the right place.
