Earn Nearly $4 Million in
Scholarships
Nearly $4 million in scholarships were awarded
to more than half of the graduating class during
the 2017 Sherman HS Scholarship Awards
Ceremony, highlighting the academic success of
this year’s seniors.
“Our students are prepared when they leave
Sherman High School and these scholarship
awards are a testament to that. More than half of

our graduating class earned a scholarship of some
kind,” SHS Principal Chris Mogan said. “We have
students going on to military, technical schools,
community colleges, universities and Ivy League
schools. The Class of 2017 has really embraced the
opportunities available to them and I couldn’t be
more proud. I am excited about their futures and
what they will do after high school.”
