Mary Barbour and the Glasgow Rent Strike
In 1915 Women were just not protesting to get the vote. For working class women there were a multitude of issues to contend with. In Glagow a group of women banded together in solidarity regarding a much more basic issue - Housing.
They went on a Rent Strike.
