During Partnership With Community Day , more than 900 Shenandoah students , as well as faculty and staff members , teamed up to work on nearly 70 service projects in the local community . Volunteers tutored English as a second language students in Frederick County Public Schools , worked on art and dance projects with children at the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Shenandoah Valley , cleaned and painted at the Salvation Army and picked up debris for the Winchester Parks & Recreation ’ s “ Clean Sweep ” project .
