MEMBER SPOTLIGHT stats, just to name a few. This has proven to be a wise decision as the heating industry has changed drastically over the last five years and keeping up with the times has been a huge part of the company’ s growth.
Weiss-Johnson’ s vision was to have a full-fledged mechanical company where builders and renovators could deal with one firm for all of their mechanical needs. In order to achieve this, someone with a greater understanding of business and acquiring or starting other divisions was needed. In 2013, Gordon Garside was hired to help Mark and Dennis further develop the business. Since then, Weiss-Johnson has expanded by adding Fireplaces by
Weiss-Johnson in 2013 and Plumbing by Weiss-Johnson in 2014. A mechanical service company that focused on commercial buildings was purchased in 2015 and Weiss-Johnson Electrical was started in 2016 to round out the business portfolio.
In January 2017 a building at 950 78th Ave. was purchased to house the plumbing, electrical, commercial HVAC and service and maintenance divisions. This will help us become more united and focused as a team, enabling us to be a true one-stop mechanical shop.
