“Francis Marion University is delighted to serve as sponsor and host for She Magazine’s Second Annual Extraordinary Women Event at FMU’s
Performing Arts Center. We are especially happy that the PAC will be the site for this event. As most know, the Performing Arts Center is a
public facility that the university is tasked with managing. We take stewardship of the PAC very seriously and strive to operate it in a thoughtful and responsible manner for the people of the Pee Dee and the state. That includes bringing great programming to the PAC under our
own auspices, and making it available for wonderful public events like She’s Extraordinary Women as well. We salute She for all its does to
celebrate womanhood in our region, both on a monthly basis through publication of the magazine, and now, with this, well, extraordinary
event. Women play, and have always played, a vital role in the life our university, and this community in general. It’s fitting to take a moment
to note this and honor some of the many women who make a difference here every day. Here’s to an extraordinary, Extraordinary Women
Event! We are once again looking forward to it and are proud to play a part.”
