As a former resident of Hartsville, I grew up reading She Magazine,
and I believe the stories that you publish about strong women had
a profound impact on me at an early age. Coming from a rural area,
I believe it’s important to have a magazine that focuses on women-centric issues.

DEAR SHE,
I love your magazine! I really enjoy the stories about people who
have overcome hardships and been blessed in their Christian walk. I
also really enjoy the fact that some of the articles are about ordinary
people we know and love.
I just wanted to thank each and every one of you over at She
Magazine for the wonderful time I experienced in being a part
of the January issue. Ms. Ashley Elvington and Ms. Haley Tucker
were so nice to me and very professional. Mr. Collin Smith was
so nice. He made me feel so comfortable, I felt like a real model! And, the proof is in the pudding. My photos are so awesome!
This part of my journey has been so enlightening for me. I am
so glad that I was able to share my story through such a trusted
magazine.
I feel really good about the way my life was captured. I wanted to tell somebody, anybody, that they are not alone. There are
people who have been in worse situations than theirs and they
can overcome those battles. My children have never been more
proud of me. My son said, “Mommy, we’re famous!” I replied,
“We are not famous; we are just trying to make a difference in
this world.” I have so much to shar e and I am bursting at the
seams with joy... Your magazine did that for me!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making a girl’s
dreams come true. I just wanted to be heard, and now I have so
many people seeking ME for advice. It feels so great to be able to
help others constructively. I have a voice and I no longer wait to
be spoken to. She Magazine is a great forum for inspiration and
information. Thanks for all that you do! And, that is a thank you
to everyone from the press to the delivery to the minds that put
it all together. I thank God for each and every hand that helped
me share my transformation!
