Paula has been
in law enforce-
ment over 20
years and inad-
vertently got into
law enforcement
being from a farm-
ing background. Of
course, she’s had her
share of ups and downs
as a black woman in law en-
forcement. Often times, she
was placed in administration in-
stead of being out on the task
force, but she didn’t let it stop
her. Not only did she have to jug-
gle being a wife and mother, she
refused to be pushed to the back.
