Q: Not only are we captured by your beauty, but your brain is awesome. You’ve accomplished so much such as being a producer, TV personality, relationship expert etc. How did you find the time to be a mother and achieve your dreams as well?

A: Wow! That's a grand compliment! Being a mother is a lot like being a juggler in a circus. You quickly learn that everything has to be done all at once and you have an expectant audience whilst you perform with grace and expertise, often times a stunt you're trying for the first time.

Q: Clearly, you’ve been in the industry for a long time. As an African-American woman, do you think it is easier today to be an entertainer then it was maybe 10, 20 years ago?

A: I think being an entertainer 20 years ago was easier in some ways and in some ways it is easier today. Twenty years ago there were far less people competing for the few spots that were available to black people. Today while there are exponentially more spaces available to entertainers, there are too that many more outlets and vehicles- television and movies may be the least of them. You have the big screen, the small screen and the mini screen (smart phones). One can be famous just for an interesting social media page.
