How Many of Us Have Them?
Hello my Queens, I would like to stress upon you, for one moment, the use of the word “friend”. And not just a friend, I’m speaking on that “best friend” title. This title gets thrown around like a hot potato from one person to another. How many of you have met someone somewhere and engaged in a conversation that sparked a chemistry where you find out that you have multiple likes and/or dislikes in common? For some of us it may take more than one encounter like this before we exchange numbers or social media info and agree to meet for lunch or coffee or nightclub, whatever the case may be. In any case, after that outing where we had fun laughing, clowning and trying to one-up each other’s stories, lol, now we have a “friend”, right? HOW? Listen, far be it for me to discourage anyone from making new friends or should I say, meeting and interacting with new people. I do this daily, however this makes them an acquaintance, not a friend. You know nothing, absolutely nothing about this person other than what they have told you and any part or all parts of that could be lies. Take into consideration the fact that you can live next door to or lay in bed next to someone for years and not really know them. They could lead a whole double life and no one be the wiser. Then someone will be on the news saying, “Never would have thought…”.
Now some people are open books, some people lay it all out on the table, hold nothing back and do not have a care in the world who has anything to say about them. If you like them, you love them. If you don’t like them, you probably can’t stand them. This is nothing but a personality clash, that is all! However the situation may go, you have to be a better judge of character for the people that you bring into your life. NOT A JUDGE OF PEOPLE!!.
