GS: It was a breathtaking moment, I had every emotion possible running through my body because it's something I've work hard for and it's finally in the palm of my hands. It felt amazing!

SB: What have you learned most from football?

GS: I've learnt with football that nothing worth it comes easy.Football has taught me that I need to be patient and that giving up is never an option.

SB: Any pre-match rituals?

GS: I need to listen to music before a game to get me ready and focused.

SB: What are some challenges facing women's football in South Africa?

GS: Women struggle with sponsorships and exposure. We aren't recognized and treated the way every footballer should be. There's no professional women teams ,our games are never televised.

We at She-Be hope interviews like this will bring much needed exposure and sponsor opportunities to women playing football in South Africa.
