Shaw & Sons was selected for the construction of the Jackie Ferrara designed Amphitheater, including
meandering seat walls and half moon terrace construction for the art museum. Not only was Shaw & Sons
instrumental with the design details and all aspects of construction, but the firm worked side-by-side with
the Natural History Museum’s paleontologist since all excavations contained volumes of fossil bone material
in each area of construction.
