This specification eliminates the unevenness in the surface of ground floors that may show high and low spots in the floor finish . The floors at The Broad where finished up to FF 120 ( floor flatness ) to eliminate the uneven appearance of fine polished concrete that can show medium to fine aggregate variation . Surface uniformity is achieved through our method of applying blended face mix while the concrete is still in plastic state prior to being finished .
