500 , 520 , 550 , and 650 Newport Center Drive uses a combination of specifications . Craftsmen Specification 3 is fine granite sand combined with granite aggregate to produce a simulated quarried stone appearance in structural-mixed concrete . In order to distribute the granite sand evenly , we use Craftsmen Specification 2 – Pneumatic Spray that ensures a homogenous distribution of both the small and large materials . The seat walls and existing bands were built and refreshed using Craftsmen Specification 15 and 16 Presto Wall Finish and Wall Joint . A drainage issue developed in between the two existing buildings and the new tower , but instead of using awkward area drains or an unsightly trench drain , we used our patented Slot Drain ( Craftsmen Specification 20 ). This kept the geometry consistent and free of unsightly swales interrupting the design pattern .
