In 2009 , Shaw & Sons completed the pedestrian-oriented plaza surrounding the first of four planned 14-story , Class A office towers to be completed over the next 10 years . The first phase was developed to include connections to the four office buildings , including two connecting plazas , an underground parking garage , and retail space . Developed by David M . Paul , the Pointe serves as an independent movie and television studio complex .
Hardscape includes white cement Presto Wall Finish cast-in-place walls with ipe wood benches , Bianco Nero Lithocrete with alternating Lithocrete Quarried Stone ( L . Q . S .) cast-in-place bands . Large field panels are L . Q . S . with white granite .
