Located on the corner of Imperial Highway and Valencia in Brea ; Oasis is the focal point of the La Floresta retail center . An appropriate name since Anna Valentina Murch sought in her projects to create an oasis amidst urban spaces . The curvilinear kinetic sculpture which is 85 feet long and 35 feet tall references Brea ’ s past in oil development . Shaw & Sons built the curvilinear terraced planter walls that house the sculpture . Presto Wall Finish was used on the walls to give it a precast look .
