Located in downtown LA , on Hope , Flower , 7th and 8th Streets , The Bloc is currently being reimaged . This full city block , mixed-use project includes a renovation of the 24-story Sheraton Hotel with new outdoor spaces , the transition of a 33-story office building to become creative office space , and the remaking of a traditional indoor mall to become an outdoor center . When finished , The Bloc will open up to the city streets and feature vibrant outdoor promenades , terraces and plazas .
Shaw & Sons is now on-site providing structural concrete and architectural concrete hardscapes .
