The Vermont has 464 apartments in two towers — one 29 stories and the other 23 stories . A seventh-floor outdoor area has a pool , pet run , and fire pit , as well as a gym and two communally-available rooms .
The pool deck area used Lithocrete shell . Pneumatically applied silica carbide in the dark gray concrete bands emphasize the light etch field paving . Enhanced city sidewalks ( below ) used traditional white granite Lithocrete and black bands seeded with stainless steel pieces ; other panels were constructed with blue glass . Black concrete bands were seeded with silica carbide .
