The Advanced Health Science Pavilion at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is an eight-story , 440,000 square-foot structure built over six levels of subterranean parking . Pedestrian bridges connect the Advanced Health Center to the hospital at the plaza level and surgery level . This project is LEED Gold certified .
L . Q . S . with Cibola granite and granite sand were chosen for this project for a smooth , hospital friendly surface that stays clean and is non-slippery . It is also easy to place around stainless steel donor bands and works well on a waterproofed structure .
