The three owners of Shaw & Sons have constructed all facets of high rise buildings , from setting 1,500 pound anchor bolt templates to forming , placing , and finishing 1,500 yards a day of slab and deck pours as part of the “ working crew .” Most of our employees started as apprentices and have all worked with and have learned from the most talented people in the construction industry , people who have built Orange and Los Angeles counties over the past century . Our Estimators and Project Managers have spent years working with nail bags prior to working in our office . Everyone has a shared and intimate understanding of what we are pricing , contracting and building . The company ’ s foremen are all CPR and First Aid certified as well as being trained in respiratory protection , and are also OSHA , high reach and forklift certified .
