Project Santa Claus 2021 Brightens the Community’ s Heart
The 28 th annual Project Santa Claus event was held on the CDU campus on Saturday, December 4, 2021. This year’ s event was held as a drive-thru event, in order to keep in line with COVID precautions, but over 100 children from the HUB clinic and their families were able to receive toys, ornament-making kits, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and a gingerbread house to build! This event is a joint event between CDU and the CDU / UCLA chapter of SNMA, the Student National Medical Association, as well as support from the UCLA School of Dentistry students and the Medical Student Council at DGSOM.
ProjectWe received over $ 1,500 worth of toy and gift card donations from our current students, staff, faculty, as well as our alumni. We are so grateful for everyone’ s support of this event, and we are already looking forward to our 29 th annual Project Santa Claus next year!
