The Nanny State
Nanny state is a term of British origin that conveys a view that a government or its policies are overprotective or interfering unduly with personal choice. The term“ nanny state” likens government to the role that a nanny has in child rearing.

Liberalism is respecting and allowing many different types of beliefs or behaviour.
Moral law
The laws given by God to govern morality i. e. how we treat each other. Morality means:“ Principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour.”( Oxford Dictionary) The Ten Commandments written by God’ s own hand contains the moral laws such as‘ you should not murder or steal’ etc.
Ceremonial law
Ceremonial laws, as the name suggests, are laws given to Moses by God that outlines how religious ceremonies must be conducted. These ceremonies were carried out as an act of worship and God’ s requirements for worship are very precise. For example, the incense used in the Tabernacle was to be made in a specific way( see article‘ Jesus in the Tabernacle of Moses’). Disobeying such instructions could be fatal.
Civic law
Civic laws governed the running of civic society. Civic means:“ Relating to a city or town, especially its administration; municipal.”( Oxford Dictionary) These laws were given to Moses by God to avoid disputes and ensure the smooth running and governance of Israel for example how they should go about getting a divorce.
The Tabernacle
According to the Hebrew Bible, was the portable earthly meeting place of God with the children of Israel from the time of the Exodus from Egypt through the conquering of the land of Canaan.
