somehow be led astray from your
sincere and pure devotion to
Christ. For if someone comes to
you and preaches a Jesus other
than the Jesus we preached or if
you receive a different spirit from
the one you received or a different
gospel you do put up with it well.”
2 Corinthians chapter 11.

Paul spent a large amount of
time encouraging, teaching and
rebuking the Church at Corinth.
He did this because soon after the
death and resurrection of the real

Jesus Christ these believers were
being led astray by false teachers
to another Jesus. We may not
think it possible for us today but
let us take a look at the words
of Jesus Himself in Matthew 24,
as He warns His disciples about
the End Times: “At that time if
anyone tells you ‘Look here is
the Christ or There He is’ Do not
believe it. For false Christs and
false prophets will appear and
perform great signs and wonders
to deceive even the elect - If that
were possible. See I have told you
ahead of time.”
Even Paul was beginning to
experience the prophetic words
of Jesus, and it is even worse
today in the 21st century. So who
is the real Jesus, that we may not
be deceived?
