Bobby Lapin
Bobby Lapin, a native of Houston, Texas, is AJC’ s National President and a founder of Lapin & Landa, L. L. P., a civil trial firm, where he specializes in commercial litigation and personal injury and wrongful death cases. Bobby’ s previous roles at AJC include Chair of AJC’ s Board of Governors, Chair of AJC’ s Contemporary Jewish Life Commission, Chair of AJC’ s National Legal Committee, and President of AJC Houston.

Bobby has also served as Board Chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, President of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston, President of the Board of Trustees of The Emery / Weiner School, and President of Congregation Beth Israel.
Bobby is married to retired social worker Eve Salzman Lapin, and he is the proud father of two sons, Elliott and Alec( Christine), and even prouder grandfather of Jack Lapin. Bobby also volunteers as Development Director and Counsel for The Stop ALD Foundation, which raises money to fight Adrenoleukodystrophy, a terminal, degenerative neurological disease which took the life of Eve and Bobby’ s eldest son, Oliver, at age 12. Bobby holds a B. A. in English Literature from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of Texas Law School.
