AJC Empowers School Administrators and Faculty
The Center’ s founding comes in the wake of Hamas’ October 7 massacre, which sparked pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and antisemitic protests on countless college campuses. Jewish students have been left feeling vulnerable and isolated, with some fearing for their safety and forced to conceal their Jewish identity.
Young Jews must be able to learn and grow, free of fear, in atmospheres that foster their belonging. Administrators, faculty, parents, and students themselves need support and guidance to ensure this is possible, and AJC’ s Center for Education Advocacy is there to provide that direction.

AJC Empowers School Administrators and Faculty

AJC works closely with university and K-12 administrators and faculty on strategic initiatives aimed at combating campus antisemitism. Our work reflects a deep commitment to democratic values, factbased inquiry, and intergroup work.
We train school leaders to recognize and respond to all manifestations of antisemitism and help equip them with effective tools to unpack and confront anti-Jewish hate. We regularly publish guides and toolkits that address the most current issues facing campuses, and detail proactive strategies and concrete steps to ensure their Jewish students can thrive in any educational environment.
In September 2024, AJC, in partnership with Hillel International and the American Council on Education( ACE), hosted our landmark College and University Presidents Summit on Campus Antisemitism in Washington, D. C. Attended by 75 + U. S. university presidents and chancellors, the Summit was an incredible solutionsdriven conference to address surging antisemitic activity and the marginalization of Jews on campus.
