Mobilizing Bipartisan Support for Israel
AJC works across the aisle to bolster the special U. S.-Israel partnership. Through our government affairs department in Washington, D. C., and our domestic regional offices, AJC maintains close working relationships with the U. S. administration and elected officials around the country, regardless of political affiliation. This has put us at the forefront of securing passage of laws that strengthen both Israel and the U. S.
Building Congressional Coalitions and Caucuses
AJC works with allies to create coalitions and caucuses in Congress that further the U. S.- Israel relationship. The Congressional Hellenic-Israel Alliance( CHIA) is one such example, which encourages U. S. support for the trilateral links between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel.
