Still Life with Emptiness
by Adam Tedesco
Mountain’s tongue clicks at blue
Fanned out into white
Steaming off blur green line
We eat the mountain to fortify bones
Eyes the breathing skin
Pink crystal tongue enskulled
Bones they crush to salt and air
Swim round majesty
Into wild soft peaking flag
Green scrub stalk spits honey white
Pools the yellow eye
Time blossoms full in bone
