Meet the Authors

Devon Balwit is a poet and educator from Portland, Oregon. She has a chapbook, Forms Most Marvelous forthcoming with Dancing Girl Press (summer 2017). Her recent poems have appeared in numerous print/on-line journals, among them: Oyez, Red Paint Hill, The Ekphrastic Review, Unlikely Stories Mark V, Timberline Review, The Journal of Applied Poetics, Vanilla Sex Magazine, Anti-Heroin Chic, The Rising Phoenix Review, Rattle, and Rat's Ass Review.

Ace Boggess is the author of two books of poetry: The Prisoners (Brick Road Poetry Press, 2014) and The Beautiful Girl Whose Wish Was Not Fulfilled (Highwire Press, 2003). His novel, A Song Without a Melody, is forthcoming from Hyperborea Publishing. His recent fiction appears in Notre Dame Review, Lumina, The Stockholm Review of Literature, and Coe Review. He lives in Charleston, West Virginia.

Originally from East New York, Brooklyn, Ayendy Bonifacio is a poet, photographer, Ph.D. student, and teaching associate at The Ohio State University English department. He studies nineteenth-century American Literature with a focus on periodical culture and poetry. His research interests are newspaper poetry and literature, women writers, communications, journalism, and serialization. Bonifacio’s poetry and photography contemplate questions of identity, education, writing, and mindfulness. His poems and book reviews have been featured and in The Journal: A Literary Magazine, The Olivetree Review, The Rocky Mountain Review, ¿Qué Pasa, OSU?, The Syzygy Poetry Journal, Odd Ball Poetry Magazine, Juked, and aaduna. His photographs have been featured in Change Seven Magazine and Young Ravens Literary Review.
