On March 1, 2013 members of the Grassroots Green Team laced up
their “kicks” and marched in solidarity out of Washington, D.C. in
the direction of Tuskegee,
Alabama. The primary focus was to bring awareness to the fact that
pollution is one of the major causes of death on our planet; more
so than breast cancer and prostate
cancer combined. Car fatalities do not cause more deaths than pollution.
With over 20,000 satellites circling our Planet, there is junkyard in
the sky that is causing subtle damages to mankind. In his second inaugural address President Obama said "Go Green!" but the fact is
that most
people do not know what that means. With our 1300 mile "Green
Respect for Mother Earth" Walk we hoped to share with communities what Going Green really means and also share solutions. With
each stop from Virginia to Alabama we shared information and inspiration. If a seven year old “Green Super Kid” can walk across the
country for the planet, what can YOU do?
