Walmart cuts workers’ hours after pay raise boosts costs

There was a backlash of Walmart cutting workers’ hours after the wages being increased for employees. The Walmart Inc. spent one billion dollars to raise the salary and benefits for workers. Unfortunately the raise in wages has led to the cut down of hours for more than 3 dozen workers across America. There are a lot outraged employees that their working hours are being cut and many are losing their job and are unemployed. When speaking to the heads, they respond saying that they want to save company`s expenses by cutting worker`s hours and increase workforce expenditures to keep profit growing. They also said that they cut downs hours where managers overscheduled their employees. Unfortunately, this pay raise boost has caused tension within many employees because they are working very few hours and are not getting paid enough due to them having shorter shifts. They are not able to get the wages they deserve or hours they should be working.
