We gave the awards and prizes as soon as most people were in as we knew everyone wanted to get back and spend time with their families, packed up and went for a dumpling and beer lunch with the volunteers. All in all, as the organizers, I think we probably had more fun than the runners as you can see from the photos. Despite the short notice and public holiday, we had a pretty decent turn out, and from our perspective, noone got lost which is always a bonus as race directors.
